2018 Silver 1 Rand First Day Of Production Issue, PCGS Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU. Once-ounce .999 fine silver. The South African Mint first issued silver Krugerrand coins in 2017 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the gold Krugerrand. The silver coins have the same design as the gold coins and are 999 pure. In 2018, the South African Mint released the first bullion silver Krugerrand.
